Update on Falmouth Public Schools

Join us for this month's Dinner meeting at the Holiday Inn, 291 Jones Road, Falmouth. Cocktails (cash bar) and socializing begin at 5:30 PM; meeting begins at 6:00 PM.

Dr. Lori Duerr, Superintendent of Falmouth Public Schools will be our guest speaker. Dr. Duerr became Superintendent of the Falmouth Public Schools in July 2018.  Her focus has been to strengthen community support through open and honest communication.  She has taken time to study the uniqueness of Falmouth and how it can contribute to student success.  Dr. Duerr will be providing the Rotary Club of Falmouth a program looking back at her first year of service in the superintendent role.  Specifically, she will highlight a few successes, such as a strategy to enhance school safety, the new All-Purpose Athletic Field, Wellness Programs, and Student Advisory.  Additionally, she'll preview a few new endeavors, including the burgeoning Woods Hole Partnership, Makerspaces, and Restorative Justice.
