Celia Suttles is being honored this week as part of our Student Recognition Program. She is an accomplished student who has demonstrated strong academic achievement, creativity, and leadership throughout her high school career. Celia is a member of the National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society, and serves as Historian of the National Art Honor Society. She has earned High Honor Roll recognition for three years.

Celia’s academic and scientific accomplishments are impressive. She is the recipient of the Brown University Book Award and earned 3rd place at the Massachusetts Science and Engineering Regional Fair, as well as 1st place at the Falmouth High School Science Fair. Her work has also been recognized with the 300 Committee Land Trust Award and the Oyster Pond Environmental Trust Award, reflecting her commitment to environmental science and research.

Beyond the classroom, Celia is a dedicated leader and active member of her school community. She serves in Student Government and is the Co-Founder and President of Falmouth High School’s Film Club. She is also involved in Model United Nations and the Women in STEM Club, demonstrating both leadership and a passion for collaboration and global awareness.

Celia is deeply committed to service and community engagement. She has volunteered with the U.S. Geological Survey Summer Program and serves as a Sea Grant volunteer at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. In addition, she volunteers with Falmouth Elementary School art teachers and supports community events such as the Falmouth Road Race.

Outside of school, Celia is a dedicated dancer at Turning Pointe Dance Studio, balancing her artistic pursuits with her academic and leadership commitments.
