FALMOUTH, MA — The Rotary Club of Falmouth Cape Cod is now accepting applications from local nonprofit organizations for its 2026–2027 Community Grant Program, continuing the club's longstanding commitment to supporting organizations and projects that make a meaningful difference in Falmouth and the surrounding community.
Eligible organizations may apply for grants of up to $1,000 to support programs, projects and initiatives that address community needs and improve the lives of local residents.
Applications must be received no later than November 30, 2026.
To be eligible, applicants must be a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and provide a copy of their IRS determination letter. Organizations must also be current and compliant with required federal and state filings.
The Rotary Club of Falmouth has a long history of partnering with local nonprofits and community organizations to turn relatively small grants into meaningful local impact.
Recent Rotary grants have helped provide books in multiple languages for local children and libraries; clothing and supplies for foster families; food assistance for Falmouth families; support for a safe after-prom celebration for local teens; lacrosse equipment to expand access to youth sports; support for Falmouth's community gardens; children's educational programming at Nobska Light; and financial-fraud prevention workshops for local veterans and their families.
Other recent grants have supported organizations and initiatives addressing homelessness, youth safety, education, local history and accessibility, veterans' services and other community needs.
"We encourage local nonprofit organizations with a project or need that could benefit from Rotary's support to apply," said Amy Wyman, Chair of Rotary Club of Falmouth Cape Cod Local Philanthropy Committee. "Some of the most meaningful community projects begin with a relatively modest investment. Our goal is to help local organizations put those dollars to work where they can have a real and lasting impact."
Applicants will be asked to provide information about their organization's mission and recent accomplishments, describe the program or project for which funding is requested, explain the population that will benefit and the anticipated impact, and provide supporting budget and financial information.

The Rotary Grant Committee will review applications in December and make recommendations to the club's Board of Directors. Applicants are generally notified of decisions in late December.
Grant recipients will be recognized and grants presented on Tuesday, February 2, 2027, at 5:30 p.m. at Museums on the Green in Falmouth.
