This week we awarded the 2nd half of our $5000 Junior Year College Scholarship. Ruth Fuller was our 2018 winner and is going into our senior year at Clark University majoring in Sociology and minoring in Women's & Gender studies.

Her coursework and extracurricular activities have led her to discover a passion for criminal justice reform. Last year she interned with the Petey Greene Program, a non profit that enlists college students to tutor incarcerated people inside prisons and jails. She has also does research on men in prison and has been published in her school's peer-reviewed research journal. Next year she has accepted a teaching assistant position and will be working alongside a professor who studies law and social change. She will also serve as a mentor to 1st year sociology students.

Congratulations to Ruth and her family. We look forward to her future accomplishments!
