Victoria Fialho is being honored this week as a Rising Senior as part of our Student Recognition Program. She is an outstanding scholar with a 3.88 GPA and has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence throughout her high school career. Victoria is a member of the National Honor Society and Science Honor Society in both 11th and 12th grades. She has been involved in the Spanish Honor Society from grades 9 through 12, serving as Historian during her junior and senior years, and is currently Vice President of the Math Honor Society.
Victoria’s academic accomplishments have been recognized with numerous honors. She earned the AP Scholar Award in 12th grade and was named VIPS Volunteer of the Month her senior year. She received the Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish in 10th grade and the Seal of Biliteracy in Portuguese with Distinction in 11th grade. Victoria was also awarded the Tufts University Book Award during her junior year, recognizing her exceptional academic achievement and leadership.
Beyond academics, Victoria is deeply involved in her school community through athletics and leadership. She received the Coaches Award for Softball in 9th grade and the Cape and Islands League Sportsmanship Award for both Volleyball and Softball in 10th grade. She served as Class President in 9th grade, was a Student Government Representative in 10th and 11th grades, and currently serves as Vice President of the Senior Class. Victoria has also been an active member of the Hope Squad throughout grades 9 through 12 and participated in SEMASC during her senior year.
Victoria’s dedication to service is evident in her extensive volunteer work, with over 100 hours contributed to her community. She has volunteered as a math and science tutor and supported numerous community events and programs, including the Cape Cod Marathon, Falmouth High School Football Snack Shack, PTO childcare, the VIPS Glow Run, softball clinics, and the VIPS Pathway Program. In her free time, Victoria also balances a part-time job at Windfall Market in Falmouth.
