Student Recognition
Congratulations to Emilly Braganca-Alves from Falmouth High School, who was honored last week as a Rising Senior as part of our Student Recognition program. Emilly is an Honor Roll Student and a member of both the National Honor Society and the National Art Honor Society. She has been awarded the Seal of Biliteracy with Distinction for Portuguese and participates in Student Government, Tutoring, and FEF. Emily is a member of Girls on the Run Boston. In her spare time, she volunteers with the Falmouth Service Center and Falmouth Together We Can. Congratulations Emilly!!!
Christian Sullivan is the Rotary Club of Falmouth Student of the Week! Christian is a member of the National Honor Society as well as the Science, Math and Spanish Honor society. He serves as president for the Science Honor Society, vice president for the Math and secretary for the National Honor Society. He is an AP Scholar with Distinction and received a Distinction of Merit Award in writing from the National Council of Teachers of English and was a Book Awards recipient. He has served since 10th grade as the class of 2024 representative to student government having previously served freshman year as the class vice president and the boys state representative junior year. He was also the student representative on the search committee for an FHS Athletic Director.
Christian is a varsity athlete playing hockey, soccer and lacrosse receiving the Coach’s award sophomore year in hockey, the sportsmanship award in soccer his junior year.
In his spare time Christian volunteers with the Falmouth Road Race, as a science/engineering fair judge for Falmouth Public Schools, and a tutor for Science, Math and Spanish. He has his certification for safety with America’s Boating course and works as a caddie and outside operations at the Sacconnessett Golf Club.
Thomas plays varsity basketball and is a varsity tennis captain after having been a sophomore all star. He volunteers with younger kids at church engaging in studies and games. He is also a senior class representative.

Harley Smith is an Eagle Scout and Honor Roll student. He is Cape Cod Community College Dual Enrollment Student and a leader in the FHS Robotics Club. He has received the Xerox Award for Innovation and Information Technology from the University of Rochester. He also received the BSA Ad Altare Dei Award and Order of the Arrow BSA Honor Society.
In his spare time, Harley is an alter server with St. Joseph Guardian of the Holy Family Parish and a member of Boy Scouts of America, Troop 42 in Falmouth. He is also a member of the FHS Hockey League and a WHOI OOI intern.

Meet Molly Gedney, Student of the Week!
Molly is a Rising Senior at Falmouth High School. She is a Honor Roll student, in the National Honor Society including the Art, Math and Tri-M Music Honor Societies. She participates in the Latin Club, All Cape Music Festival, and Peer Mentoring. She is also an athlete participating on both the Field Hockey and Tennis teams.
Molly works currently at La Cucina Sul Mare as a hostess and enjoys reading, music and outdoor activities. In her spare time Molly volunteers in the community with the Falmouth Road Race, the Annual Cleanup in West Falmouth, Math Tutoring with Mrs. Gilbert at North Falmouth Elementary School and Art at Teaticket Elementary School, as well as at Cape Cod Church in the small groups and the nursery.
Her plans after high school include attending a 4 year Christian College and majoring in Psychology with an interest of becoming an Occupational Therapist.

Congratulations to Victoria Roulston, the 2019 Women's Athletic Scholarship Winner!
We are proud to announce that Victoria is our winner this year of a $1000 scholarship due to her success at being a women's scholar athlete. Torie will be attending Southern New Hampshire University where she will major in criminal justice. She graduated with a 3.76 as an honors/AP student, is a member of Tri M Music Honors society, Mu Alpha Theta-a math honors society and the National Honors Society. She played for the women's Varsity Soccer team at Falmouth High School as a striker, was active with student government, Symphony Band as well as has volunteered with Jack's Pact, the Falmouth Service Center fundraiser for cancer, a volunteer referee and coach with the Rec Center and a counselor with the Scorpions soccer club. In addition to this busy schedule this impressive young woman also works for at the Falmouth Commodores concession stand, Cape Grille, Pies A La Mode Cafe, and Falmouth Nursing Home.
Congratulations again to this very talented young woman and her family!
