The Falmouth Rotary Service Committee recently had a clothing drive for the Cape Cod Foster Closet.  This group helps local foster families by providing urgently needed clothing, shoes, books, baby gear & furniture, formula, car seats, and more.  All items are donated by the Cape Cod community and are provided free of charge to families who care for other people’s children on Cape Cod and the Islands.

There is now a branch of the Foster Closet in Falmouth.  The Rotary club had a drive to supply clothing in sizes that the Foster Closet needed to round out their inventory.  The club also provided a local philanthropy grant to the group for other items for foster families.

Another on-going project of the Service Committee at Falmouth Rotary is the Beach Cleanup program in partnership with Litter Free Falmouth and the Beach Committee.  Rotarians also branch out and clean up conservation areas and wooded areas such as those around Falmouth Hospital.
